Indian Creek Or King Creek - Was It Here Where William Roark Settled?

From the History of Washington County [Pennsylvania]:

Indian or King Creek (northeast branch) and Tomlinson's Run rise in Hanover township near Florence.

"History of Washington County from its first settlement to the present time: first under Virginia as Yohogania, Ohio, or Augusta County until 1781, and subsequently under Pennsylvania." Hanover Township was formed on 11 Mar 1786. [Source]

William Roark was granted land in the District of  Monongalia, Yohogania and Ohio [map] by the Commonwealth of Virginia... in 1785 in the County of Monongalia

From "The Monongalia Story," Road Amendments:

County court records for 1841 include petitions for amendment of roads "from the top of Walkers hill to Indian Creek"; "from the bethel meating house or near Hynson Smiths and through by the way of Michael WHITES to intersect at or near Waitman DAVIS' saw mill...near the widow Mary COMBS'..to the crossing of Indian creek below ROARK'S old mill. (*Note* I copied this verbatim the mis-spells too.)

See a blog post about William Roark's neighbors in Monongalia here.

I have connected with William Roark a couple of times. First when my ancestor Henry Amos bought 200 acres on Indian Creek from him [Monongalia County WV Deeds Old Series 1:173] by agreement of 13 Sept. 1790.

This land was in what is now Marion County, WV (the part set off from Monongalia County in 1842). It was not part of Roark's mill land.

Henry conveyed this to his son James Amos nearly 29 years later [Monongalia Co. Deeds OS 7:459].
