This Indenture, made this Second day of April in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Seven
Between Cynthia Richardson and Daniel Richardson, her husband, of the Town of Livonia County of Livingston and State of New York, of the first part, and Lovina C. Northrop of the same place, of the second part,

Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum of Three hundred and sixty-five dollars to them duly paid.....all that tract or parcel of Land, situate in the Town of Livonia aforesaid and in the Village of Lakeville and bounded in the South by the centre of the highway leading from Lakeville past the residence of Thomas Armstrong, On the east by land of Sylvester Gaylord, On the north by land formerly owned by Erastus West and on the west by lands of Mrs. Hier/Hiver containing about two and one half acres of land  the same more or less...
