There was a Urana Carpenter living with Bemsley (or Bensley) Carpenter in Lake Co., Ohio in 1850 when the census was taken. She was born in Connecticut (as was Norman who may be her brother). Bemsley Carpenter died in 1853 and his (2nd) wife, Olive, died in March of 1850. They were "of" Sandisfield, Massachusetts per this website. According to this family tree, Bemsley Carpenter did have a son named Norman.
