Digital Archives - State of Washington

Land records are one of the featured items (along with marriages, military, death records, etc.) online at the State of Washington Archives located here.

One branch of the Backus family* moved to Washington in 1889 so I used the Backus surname as a "test." There were several land records listed under the Backus name.
