Willett Heirs In Genesee County, Michigan (Some Are Also Crapo Heirs)

John Willett was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 1820. He attended medical school in Geneva, New York, and moved to Flint, Michigan, in 1846, according to this source. Probate information for John Willett was found in the Genesee County, Michigan, deeds (see below):

John Willett died in Flint, Genesee Co., Michigan, on 22 June 1881 (and buried in Glenwood Cemetery).

John Leverett Willett married Rebecca Crapo Durant, who was the granddaughter of Governor Crapo. Rebecca was the sister of William Crapo Durant, who was the founder of General Motors. John Leverett Willett is buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Flint, Michigan, as is his father.
