John Ash In 1803

 

Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, Court orders...v. 1-2 1799-1821:


John Ash this day claimed a right to two hundred acres of land on Clifty agreeably to entry filed which is granted accordingly  18 July 1803

Ordered John Ash be and he is hereby appointed surveyor of the road from William Bells old field to Armstrongs mill and that he together with the following hands to wit Isaac Newman  William Bell  Johnathan Vancleaves   Levingston  William Hynes  Jesse McPherson  Abraham Billings  Nicholas Lockerman  John Bowers  Jacob Bowers  Alexander Whitaker  James Wellome  & John Humphreys  open and keep the same in repair thirty feet wide as the law directs  19 December 1803
