...That certain Lot lying on the South side of Jefferson Avenue in said city [Detroit]; between the Lot owned by General Hugh Brady and Major Garland, being fifty-four feet on said avenue and holding that width thru to Woodbridge Street....

"General Hugh Brady...occupied the house adjoining, which was a plain brick one. It was replaced by the present Museum of Art." [Source]
