John Cowdall granted unto Edward Ting his dwelling house in Boston formerly Wm Davies the Smith and also halfe an Acre of land lyeinge next unto Georg Grigges lott for and in considernation of fourty pounds, wth certaine provisoes therein conteyned and this was by way of mortgage as appeares by a deed dated the 8. (12) 1644
