John Cowdell granted unto Edward Ting his dwelling house in Boston formerly Wm Davies the Smith & also halfe an Acre of land lyeinge next unto Georg Grigges lott for & in consideration of fourty pounds, with certaine provisoes therein conteyned &; this was by way of mortgage as appeares by a deed dated the 8. (12_) 1644
