This Indenture...between John Taylor of Gunpowder River in Baltimore County and Province of Maryland Planter of the one part and Robert Lowe of the same county and province planter of the other part...in consideration of the sum of three thousands pounds of good merchantable Leaf Tob:o (tobacco) in cash to him...sell to said Robert Lowe (or Love)...parcel of land called Jamaica
