Petition 15h...shows that he enlisted at the commencement of the late Rebellion and was promised land at the conclusion of the war...served 8 years in the 84th and 7 years before that in another corps, that he was prisoner during the war and made his escape into Long Island...a ticket for Lot 94 New Settlement from Major Matthews, but the limits not thoroughly known, he improved on Lot 92, whose grantee has abandoned that lot...in the River La Tranche...he therefore prays for a confirmation of Lot 92 in which case he will resign Lot 94 to the Recommendation of the Board. 4 Aug 91
