David Kenedy of Guelph, aforesaid, Yeo Man....
Was it the David Kennedy of Guelph named in the above petition who was the author of Incidents of pioneer days at Guelph and the County of Bruce? [I don't know, but it certainly seems plausible]
The name David Kennedy caught my attention because one of my ancestors was a David Kennedy who lived in the Grimsby, Ontario, Canada, area. My David Kennedy died on 2 November 1854.
