Fayette and Lois Northrup were living in Dryden Township, Lapeer County, Michigan, in 1860 (Fold3 link).  Fayette was born in Vermont about 1825; Lois was born in Michigan about 1835.  Their children, Elijah, Anna and Adelaide were living with them.  Fayette Northrup died July 5, 1867.  In 1850 they were also in Dryden Township; the young couple was living with Mary Grinold, age 28, born in Vermont, with her two young children, John and Charles Grinold.  There's another Grinold family living nearby.  In 1870, Louise and her children, including 6 year old Eliazabeth, were living in Dryden Twp.

It appears that Lois remarried in 1874 to Benjamin Spencer.  In 1894 the Spencers were living with their son, Lyle. The Spencers were living in Attica Twp., Lapeer County, Michigan, in 1900.  Lois was a widow in 1910.
