Note: Howard is a surname I research; however, these Howards are not part of my family. As seen at FamilySearch's New York, Land Records, Livingston Deeds, 1819-1828:
Livingston County, Deeds
4-44
3 December 1825
Laban and Mary Howard of Livonia, Livingston Co, New York
To
Samuel Daniels (of same) [This one?]
...bounded as....the dwelling house of George Smith to the foot of Conesus Lake....
Are the Howards described below related to the Howards above?
Laban A. Howard, M.D. who was born in Livingston County, New York, on September 22 1841, was living in Hillsdale County, Michigan. His bio stated that his father had also moved to Michigan.
Mary, the widow of Laban Howard, was mentioned as the wife of John Glasgow, also in Hillsdale County, Michigan, to wit: "John marr. third: Mrs. Mary A (BABBET) HOWARD, widow of Laban HOWARD."
Mary Howard Glasgow, Laban Howard's widow, was born in 1819, therefore, she was too young to be the wife of the Laban Howard who made the deed in 1825.
