St. Mary's Falls Ship Canal (Soo Locks) In A Lapeer County Deed

Lapeer County, Michigan, Deed #U-260, was part of the St. Mary's Falls Ship Canal (Soo Locks) connecting Lake Superior to the lower Great Lakes. It was a surprise to find a deed pertaining to the Soo Locks and residents of Ashtabula County, Ohio, in Lapeer County, but there it was.
