The name of John Trowsdale (Trousdale) was found in the index of The Papers of Archibald D. Murphey:... and the referenced letter found below, regarding some property in Orange County, North Carolina.
Excerpt from below:
.....Part of the Lands which I now possess on Haw River bargained and sold them to John Trowsdale. He gave to Trowsdale a Bond to make a Title to the Lands, and Trowsdale gave to him two bonds for the Payment of the Purchase money. The Revolution came on shortly afterwards and the lands of McCulloh were confiscated.
Was this deed part of the problem?
