This Indenture made the twenty fourth day of February in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and twenty Nine --Between Daniel J. Richardson and Thankful G., his wife, of Mount Morris in the County of Livingston and State of New York of the first part and Ichabod Thurston of the same place of the second part, witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred and fifty dollars to them in hand paid, by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, remised, released, aliened and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, remise, release alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part, and tho his heirs and assigns forever, All that certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the village of Mount Morris, County & State aforesaid, Beginning at the south west corner of Lot number twenty one, Thence north, twenty four degrees west--two chains and eighty two links Thence north sixty six degrees East--two chains and thirty six links, Thence south, twenty four degrees East Two chains & eight two links, thence south sixty six degrees west, two chains and thirty six links to the place of beginning, containing two thirds of an acre of land, be the same more or less....Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof; and all the Estate Right, Title, ......forever warrant and defend.

*ICHABOD Thurston^ of Mount Morris, N. Y. {Gardner,^ George,^ Edward^ yonathan,^ Edward'^'), brother of the preceding, and son of Gardner^ and Lydia (Taylor) Thurston of Hopkinton, R. I.; born there Sept. 27, 1802 ; married, Sept. 26, 1829, Sarah B. Spink. He died Sept. 12, 1870; was a harness maker. [Brown-Thurston Genealogies]
