John book was found on "The Squatters Petition for Title to Ancaster Land," described as "The earliest known record of squatters' petitions was known as "The James Wilson and Associates", 1783, a list of 22 petitioners"...

The name "Book" is one that catches my attention because Melissa Kennedy (sister of my Mary Agnes Kennedy) married George Book in Canada.
