There, a Buffalo Creek was quite a large watershed through Mannington District and meandering eastward to Fairmont. Jim and I declined, but luckily there were two young brothers who were up to the challenge. Apparently it's pure enough to drink as is. There's also a "soapy" plant that suds up when rubbed that grows in the swamp. The guide demonstrated that, too.
