Affidavit by James Fulton verifying that Shepard was a member of Fulton's troops. Fulton identified as "John" here, but the name is clearly James on the petition.
Petition also in this source. Both Image #317 and source included the information "Inadmissible, the petitioner [Samuel Shepard] having left the province."
